AMC will bow the third season of its Emmy Award-winning drama on Aug. 16.
The third-season debut will air with limited commercial interruption, according to network officials.
AMC is giving viewers opportunities to relive or get acquainted with Matt Weiner's retro advertising show, the first basic- cable series to win the best drama Emmy.
The network is making the first season, in both standard- and high-definition, accessible via on-demand platforms, with the second season ramping up on July 20. The show's pilot, "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes," is currently streaming on www.amctv.com.
On Aug. 9, AMC will air a marathon of the complete second season.
