AMC: No Full Ad Load Yet

American Movie Classics, which added a 'commercial intermission' in the
middle of its films last fall, has not yet decided to adopt a full commercial
load.

Responding to speculation, a Rainbow Media Holdings Inc. source said Friday,
'It's an option we're looking at.'

After selling pre- and post-movie sponsorships for several years, AMC began
running 60- to 90-second commercial breaks in its movies in October. The movie
service did not announce that move prior to its Oct. 1 start date.

Archrival Turner Classic Movies continues to promote its commercial-free
schedule and has no plans to change that, a spokesman said.
