Animal Planet Renews ‘Rocky Mountain Bounty Hunters’

Animal Planet said it ordered a second season of Rocky Mountain Bounty Hunters, about two teams of elite fugitive bounty hunters. The first season of six episodes debuted on Animal Planet in April averaging 766,000 viewers per premiere episode. The second season, produced by ITV Studios America, will premiere in 2015 with 10 new episodes, with filming to start in Montana and Idaho this fall.

The series follows professional bounty hunter pairs Clint and Dayson in Colorado, and Rob and “Animal” (pictured) in Montana as they patrol the harsh conditions surrounding the scenic yet deadly landscape of the Rockies, tracking, chasing and capturing fugitives that can disappear into the immense wilderness inhabited by predators like black bears and mountain lions.
