Food Network has green-lit a new season of hit series The Next Food Network Star.
The Scripps Networks-owned service said it will kick off another nationwide search to find premiere chefs and home cooks to compete for their own show on the network Sept. 18.
The open casting call will immediately follow the debut of Party Line with Dan and Steve, the new series starring the winners of season one, Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
Unwrapped host Marc Summers returns as host.
“We couldn’t be happier with the outcome of the first Food Network Star,” Food senior vice president of primetime programming Kathleen Finch said in a prepared statement. “Now, we’re looking for another new face to join our daytime lineup. If you have a great personality, unique style and a strong knowledge of food and cooking, then you should definitely apply.”
