Anthony Anderson to Host NAACP Image Awards

Actor and black-ish star Anthony Anderson will once again host the upcoming NAACP Image Awards, TV One announced Tuesday.

Anderson will host the show for the sixth consecutive year, according to TV One, which will televise the March 30 live telecast.

Anderson is currently the star and executive producer of ABC’s comedy black-ish, and is a four-time NAACP Image Award Winner for Outstanding Comedy Series.

We are pleased to have Anthony as our host for our 50th anniversary," said NAACP president and CEO Derrick Johnson in a statement. "Anthony's charisma on stage has won over our audience and continues to bring in new viewers every year. As we recognize the best of the best artists for their accomplishments over the past year, we couldn't be more proud to do so with Anthony by our side."
