AOL, AMC to Shake the World


America Online Inc. has signed on as the December sponsor for AMC’sMovies That Shook the World.

The half-hour weekly documentary series -- which explores history’s most influential movies -- airs Fridays at 10 p.m. (EST/PST).

As part of the agreement, AOL will receive exclusive interview clips to run on ( featuring Mary Steenburgen discussing the impact of Philadelphia on pop culture, as well as tagged tune-ins and billboards promoting exclusive content on an in-program call-to-action to access more clips during the network’s Dec. 2 airing of Philadelphia.
