AOL Strikes Content, Retail Deals

America Online Inc. is again making good on its promise to push broadband,
striking a promotional deal with big-box consumer-electronics outlet Best Buy
Co. Inc. and extending an existing agreement with Spanish-language outlet
Univision Communications Inc.

The marketing deal will provide in-store promotions for AOL and AOL Broadband
in more than 500 Best Buy stores nationwide. Displays will provide information
about AOL services, and store employees will be trained to sell AOL
products.

In return, AOL will add Best Buy consumer electronics to several areas of its
online portal, including Shop@AOL.

In a separate announcement, AOL also extended its content and marketing
partnership with Spanish-language television and media outlet Univision.

AOL plans to expand its presence among Spanish-language users, who represent
the fastest-growing online community in the United States.

In addition to providing articles and photos from Univision media sources,
the deal also provides AOL Broadband with video content including Latino
celebrity clips, news content and other entertainment features.

AOL, in turn, will launch an ad campaign on Univision TV
outlets.
