AOL: You’ve Got GameTap


Turner Broadcasting System’s GameTap broadband-entertainment network will team up with AOL Games.

The two companies said the GameTap co branded destination on AOL Games ( will feature nine playable Web-based games -- Joust, Robotron 2084, Defender, Defender II, Rampage, Bubbles, Sinistar, Satan's Hollow and Tapper -- and original video from GameTap TV's archive.

“As one of the leading sites for casual gamers, we pride ourselves on offering the most comprehensive games experience on the Web," AOL Games vice president and general manager Ralph Rivera said in a prepared statement. "By partnering with GameTap, we can extend our library of games and provide our millions of gamers with some of the best classic games available.”
