Ape of a Deal for Turner

King Kong will climb onto television for the first time on Turner Broadcasting System Inc.’s cable networks following a deal with NBC Universal.

The film’s window on the Turner networks begins in 2008.

Turner said it also licensed the network-premiere windows for NBC U movies Doom, starring The Rock; Two for the Money, starring Al Pacino and Matthew McConaughey; and The Ice Harvest, with John Cusack and Billy Bob Thornton, as well as the second window for Prime, starring Meryl Streep and Uma Thurman.
