Armstrong Cable Services Inc. will use Roaring Penguin Software Inc.’s “CanIt-PRO” anti-spam solution, the vendor said.
Armstrong, the country’s No. 18 MSO, provides cable-TV, telephone and high-speed-data services in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky and Maryland.
“Internet users today expect more and more from their service providers,” Armstrong vice president of technical operations Don Tacik said in a prepared statement. “The e-mail filtering provided by Roaring Penguin's solution does more than just keep junk mail out of our customers' in boxes -- it improves our customers' experience and ensures their loyalty.”
