Lifetime's Army Wives finished its fourth campaign on a number of strong Nielsen notes.
The Aug. 22 telecast was the drama's most-watched show of the 18-episode season with total viewers and key demo groups, according to officials at the network.
The installment averaged a 3.0 household rating, translating into 3.91 million viewers, according to Nielsen data. Included in that total were season-bests among adults 25 to 54 (1.99 million of those watchers), women 18 to 49 (1.29 million), women 25 to 54 (1.47 million), 18+ (2.82 million) and persons 18 to 49 (1.72 million).
The most successful series in Lifetime history, Army Wives follows the struggles, dreams and friendships of a diverse group of women - and one man - living with their spouses and families on an active army post. The series films in Charleston, South Carolina, and stars Kim Delaney, Sally Pressman, Brigid Brannagh, Brian McNamara, Sterling K. Brown, Wendy Davis, Drew Fuller, Terry Serpico, Katelyn Pippy and Catherine Bell.
