Atlanta-Turner Network Television's premiere of the first part of Nuremberg garnered a 5.6 rating, making it the most-watched movie of the year to date on basic cable, according to Nielsen Media Research data from Turner.
Nuremberg's July 16 premiere delivered 4.4 million households during its initial 8 p.m. play.
The miniseries helped to boost TNT to a tie with USA Network for No. 1 in primetime household ratings, with a 2.0. for the week ended July 16.
Nuremberg's part-one performance ranked as basic cable's top movie among adults 25 to 54 for the year.
