AT&T will carry Scripps Networks’ linear, HDTV and on-demand programming as part of its AT&T U-verse TV channel lineup, officials said Monday.
Under the distribution agreement, AT&T will offer Home & Garden Television, Food Network, DIY Network, Fine Living and Great American Country. U-verse TV will also include HGTV HD and Food Network HD. And Scripps programming will be featured in the U-verse on-demand library each month, including several hours of the best programming from HGTV and Food.
Financial and other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
AT&T U-verse TV is delivered by Project Lightspeed, the company's initiative to expand the fiber-optic network deeper into neighborhoods to deliver U-verse TV, AT&T Yahoo! High Speed Internet U-verse Enabled and, in the future, voice-over-Internet-protocol services.
