The California Cable & Telecommunications Association said there were 6,150 registered attendees at the Western Show, down from about 10,000 at the 2002 convention.

The CCTA said it "couldn’t have been happier" with the attendance, but the turnout was a disappointment to some taxi drivers in Anaheim, Calif., who said they were told by the Anaheim Convention Center that there would be 18,000 attendees.
