Lifestyle and entertainment channel WealthTV will be available to Auroras Entertainment LLC video customers under terms of a deal announced Monday.
The MPEG-4 (Moving Picture Expert Group) AVC-based (advanced video compression) Internet-protocol-TV service aggregator -- which expects to be commercially launched by the second quarter of 2006, with agreements with nine independent telephone companies to participate as launch partners -- will carry WealthTV in digital and HD.
The network said it has reached five agreements with IPTV aggregators, as well as affiliation deals with IPTV fiber-delivered video-service providers including Optical Entertainment Network and Verizon Communications Inc.’s FiOS TV service.
