here! TV will run Autism Speaks’ new public-service announcements nationally.

The PSA campaign is aimed at raising “awareness about the growing prevalence of autism and the need for parents to be better aware of the early warning signs of the disorder, which now affects one in every 166 children,” the two parties said.

Autism Speaks -- founded in February 2005 by General Electric vice chairman and executive officer and NBC Universal chairman and CEO Bob Wright and his wife, Suzanne -- is dedicated to increasing awareness of the growing autism epidemic and to raising money to fund scientists who are searching for a cure.
