AXS TV To Provide Live Coverage Of Stagecoach Country Music Festival

AXS TV has acquired the rights to air the 2014 Stagecoach Country Music Festival, the network announced Thursday.

The network will team with StubHub to air over 12 hours of live coverage over three days, beginning April 25, from Indio, Calif., according to network officials. AXS in 2013 drew more than five million households to its 16 hours of live Stagecoach coverage, according to network officials.

“Last year AXS TV produced over 300 hours of live music television. No other network comes near to our commitment in providing live performances from today’s top musical artists from stages around the globe,” said Mark Cuban, AXS TV founder in a statement. “As we continue to be the home of live music festivals, we’re pleased to be able to showcase Stagecoach once again as it is loaded with impressive performances, by some of the industry’s most influential artists.”

The network also announced it will distribute live the Mending Kids.org – All Star Concert For Children Worldwide on Feb. 14. The charity concert will feature performances from such legendary musicians as Tom Jones, Natasha Bendingfield, Vintage Trouble and KISS.
