Ambassadors from Oxygen’s series Bad Girls Club will hit the streets next week, handing out free, preloaded Metro cards, hot chocolate, mittens and reusable shopping bags to shoppers and commuters in New York City.

The “Bad Girls Doing Good” events will take place Monday, Dec. 1 and Tuesday, Dec. 2. On Monday, 30 ambassadors will be at the Rockefeller Center and Herald Square from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET. On Tuesday, they’ll bring their good cheer to Times Square and Union Square, also from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Along with the swag, network officials said the girls will be doing good deeds by offering assistance to moms, dads and nannies with baby strollers; hailing cabs for weary tourists; helping the elderly cross crowded streets; and giving away holiday hugs.

The holiday promotion is just one of many sales, marketing and public relations efforts designed to stir interest in the series, which kicks off its third season on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 10 p.m. ET.
