Barlow Named President Of TWC San Diego Division

Time Warner Cable said Bob Barlow, former president of the company’s South Carolina division, has been named president of the 425,000-subscriber San Diego Division in Southern California.

A company spokesman said former San Diego division president Judy Walsh left the company.

Barlow has more than 28 years of cable experience, including operational roles at Time Warner Cable. While he was president of the South Carolina Division, the division launched Start Over, Look Back and switched digital video technologies and, in 2006, received the TWC Innovation Award.

Before that he was president of the Desert Cities Division in California, where he led the integration of Palm Springs and MediaOne Palm Desert cable systems into one operating unit.

Barlow also merged two separate cable companies and cultures into one cohesive unit as vice president/general manager of the Pinellas County region, the company said.

He started at Time Warner Cable in 1980 as finance manager in Englewood, Colo.
