The View's Joy Behar is joining HLN's primetime lineup this fall.
A one-hour talker, The Joy Behar Show will air seven days a week at 9 p.m. (ET) as part of HLN's (formerly Headline News) "news and views" programming, airing opposite Larry King Live on sister service CNN.
Behar's show, featuring her personal take on the day's news and watercooler issues encompassing pop culture to politics and subjects in between, will benefit from the service's most-watched show, Nancy Grace, as a lead-in.
She will continue to serve as a co-host on ABC's Emmy-winning The View.
"Joy's sense of humor and her bold interview style make her one of the best talk-show hosts in the business," said CNN Worldwide executive vice president Ken Jautz in making the announcement. "She is a terrific fit for HLN's personality-driven primetime lineup."
Noted Behar: "I just can't seem to keep my mouth shut, so another hour of conversations with interesting, outspoken people about the stories making news is right up my alley. I'm an opinion freak - I love to offer my own and I love to hear other people's take on things - so this show is a great opportunity for me. I'm thrilled to join the HLN lineup."
