beIN Sports netted growth with both its Spanish- and English-language networks' coverage of Sunday's El Clasico match.

Together, the services averaged 2.12 million watchers, according to Nielsen data, as FC Barcelona edged Real Mardrid 2-1 to extend its lead atop of La Liga to four points behind Luis Suarez's goal (pictured) in the 56th minute

The match delivered an average of 1.35 million total viewers on beIN Sports en Espanol and 767,000 total viewers on beIN Sports English, according to Nielsen.

Perhaps there are more Stateside Barca backers than Los Blancos supporters, as beIN Sports' coverage on March 22 jumped  64% with the Spanish-language service and 16% on the Anglo side from its presentation of Real Madrid's 3-1 win over FC Bacelona on Oct. 25, 2014. The clubs feature two of the most accomplished futbolers on the planet with FC Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ratings peaked during the 5:30 p.m (ET) quarter hour on beIN Sports English with 968,000. while beIN en Espanol tallied 1.69 million watchers during that time.
