The second season of Black Entertainment Television’s College Hill kicks off Thursday at 9 p.m. (EST/PST).
The series’ first-season premiere last January was the highest-rated series premiere in BET’s history, earning a 1.4 Nielsen Media Research household rating and drawing 1.4 million viewers.
For the second season of College Hill, an all-new cast of eight moves to off-campus housing at LangstonUniversity in Oklahoma.
“We are very proud of having the only black reality show on TV,” BET senior vice president of music programming and talent Stephen Hill said in a prepared statement.
“This year, we show all aspects of the students’ lives -- the classroom struggles and triumphs, as well as party times,” Hill added. “The personalities in this show are hilarious, touching, motivating and just downright ornery.”
