BET will kick off Dear Mama: A Mother's Day Celebration Thursday, May 10 at 8 p.m. (EST/PST).
Rocsi and Terrence of the network’s 106 & Park will host the special, which will feature a candid interview with Usher and his mother and manager, Jonetta Patton.
Interviews with celebrities and their mothers including Ciara, Bow Wow, Omarion, Macy Gray, Ashanti, Fantasia, Monica, Lil Mama, Justine Simmons and Juelz Santana will also be included.
BET’s RapCity will bring military Mother's Day wishes from troops in Iraq Friday, May 11 and Saturday, May 12 at 4 p.m.
And to conclude the network’s celebration, Terrence and Rocsi will host a special edition of 106 & Park during which audience members will reflect on their favorite Mother's Day past times Friday, May 11 at 6 p.m.
