BET’s ‘Black Girls Rock’ Tops Twitter TV Rankings

BET’s annual Black Girls Rock! 2016 special was the most tweeted television show yesterday, according to Nielsen’s daily Twitter TV Ratings report.

Black Girls Rockl generated 215,000 tweets Tuesday, topping the 62,000 tweets generated by the final episode of FX’s anthology series American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson, according to Nielsen.

Freeform series Shadowhunters finished third with 57,000 tweets, followed by Fox’s American Idol (38,000 tweets) and Comedy Central’s At Midnight With Chris Hardwick (26,000).

TNT’s Minnesota Timberwolves-Golden State Warriors NBA basketball telecast was the most social sports program of the day, generating 142,000 tweets, according to Nielsen.
