Big Three-Day Lift For 'Bastard Executioner'

FX said The Bastard Executioner, the medieval action drama that premiered on Tuesday, Sept. 15, added 71% to its audience from live plus same day to live plus three days viewing. The Live+3 total climbed to 3.61 million total viewers and 1.79 million viewers ages 18-49, which ranks behind only AMC's Better Call Saul (the Breaking Bad prequel) and Fear The Walking Dead (a The Walking Dead companion) for cable series premieres this year to date in terms of total viewers and 18-49s among non-news, sports and other program categories. 

FX series typically do well in Live+3 lift. But TBX was second only to Fargo among FX series in terms of the Live+3 bounce. Fargo's audience rose an average 74%. The second season of Fargo will premiere on Monday, Oct. 12. The second TBX episode premieres tomorrow night at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
