Big Turnout Expected at WICT Gala

Women in Cable & Telecommunications said it expects nearly 1,000 industry
executives to attend its 18th annual benefit gala Wednesday night at
the Hilton Washington & Towers in Washington, D.C.

Insight Communications Co. Inc. president Kim Kelly will be honored as the
'Woman of the Year.'

Other 2002 'Accolades' will go to Cox Communications Inc. senior vice
president Mae Douglas ('Woman to Watch'), Landmark Communications Inc. president
Decker Anstrom ('Forerunner') and Federal Communications Commission member
Kathleen Abernathy (Forerunner).

ESPN will pick up a 'Tribute Accolade' for ESPN Classic's
SportsCentury documentary on Billie Jean King, and Showtime will pick up
a drama/music/variety/comedy Tribute Accolade for In the Time of the
Butterflies
