To flag its enhanced Web site (www.biographychannel.com), The Biography Channel will run a consumer sweepstakes sending the winner on a trip to Hollywood during Oscar week.
Running Feb. 9-22, the "2004 Star Treatment Sweepstakes," sponsored by Garnier Nutrisse, will send a winner and a guest to Tinseltown the week of Feb. 23-29. In Hollywood, they’ll be primped and pampered with spa treatments, dinners and shopping sprees as part of a $22,000 package.

The network is using the Star Treatment promotion as a means to build awareness for the recently revamped site, which has been optimized for broadband. Users can view trailers and footage of the network’s programming, including new series Action!, One Shot and Lucky Breaks.
Visitors can also play an interactive flash-animated game based on 90 Days in Hollywood, an original, new reality series that follows nine actors as they try to succeed in the biz.
