‘Black-ish,’ ‘Power’ Dominate NAACP Image Awards

ABC’s black-ish and Starz’ Power were the big winners at the NAACP Image Awards Saturday night. 

Black-ish swept all five awards in the comedy category, while Power won two of five awards in the drama category -- outstanding drama series and outstanding actor in a drama series -- according to the civil rights organization.

Overall, ABC won eight awards combined across Saturday's live telecast and during a March 29 non-televised ceremony to lead all networks. OWN finished second with three statuettes, according to the civil rights organization.

The 50th NAACP Image Awards, which were televised live by Tv One, honor outstanding performances in film, television, music, and literature.
