Blake Hearing to Court TV

Courtroom Television Network was cleared to cover live the preliminary
hearing of actor Robert Blake, who is accused of murdering his wife nearly two
years ago.

The hearing is scheduled to begin in Los Angeles Feb. 26.

U.S. Superior Court Judge Lloyd Nash granted Court TV permission to cover the
hearing live -- a request the network submitted without opposition from
prosecutors or Blake's defense council.

Officials from the network said a substantial portion of the hearing would be
cablecast in gavel-to-gavel fashion.

Former Baretta and Hell Town star Blake has pleaded innocent to
the accusation that he killed his wife, Bonny Lee Bakley, in May 2001.

Separately, Blake's first on-camera interview since his arrest, conducted by
Barbara Walters, will also run on ABC Feb. 26.
