Blue Ridge Launches HBO GO

HBO Monday added Blue Ridge Communications to its growing list of MSOs signing on to carry its HBO Go and Max Go authenticated online services.
Blue Ridge's 20,500 customers who subscribe to HBO and/or Cinemax will have free, unlimited access to HBO Go and Max Go on computers with high-speed connections as well as iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, select Android devices, according to HBO officials.
Subscribers visiting the HBOGO.com and MAXGO.com, or logging onto Blue Ridge's mybrctv.com site can sign in with their Blue Ridge user ID and password to begin watching the services.
"We're very excited to be one of the first independent operators in the country to launch HBO and MAX GO," said Joe Lorah, corporate director of marketing and customer service for the MSO in a statement. "These new services will give our customers more choices, more content and more control on when and where they view their HBO and Cinemax programs."
