Lou Borrelli, formerly of AOL Broadband and Marcus Cable, said he has been hired as CEO at NEP Supershooters, a TV-production house based in Pittsburgh.
“I am excited that many of the company's clients are longtime friends from the cable, broadcast and entertainment industries,” Borrelli said in an e-mail. “I look forward to renewing those relationships with an eye toward expanding our successful partnerships.”
NEP’s holdings include NEP Studio, which it described as the largest independent TV-production-services provider in New York, adding that its resources have been used at many high-profile sports events over the years, including the most recent Super Bowl.
Apax Partners and Spectrum Equity Investors own a majority of equity in the firm, Borrelli said.
