Network to Pull Sitcom From Air Immediately

Bounce TV said Tuesday (July 7) it is pulling Cosby off its schedule.

"Bounce TV will cease airing the television series Cosby effective immediately," the African American targeted net said in a statement.

The decision follows revelations that Bill Cosby had admitted in 2005 court papers to obtaining drugs to give to womenwith whom he wanted to have sex.

The network has been running Cosby episodes back-to-back from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. It will replace the show with Roc starting this afternoon (July 7).

Bounce TV is available to more than 85 million homes in 90 markets reaching 90% of African American TV homes.
