Bowen Named Altice News Chief Revenue Officer

Altice News, the division of Altice USA that comprises its Cheddar, i24 News and News 12 operations, has named former Charter Communications executive Keith Bowen as chief revenue officer.

Bowen will be responsible for driving strategy, revenue delivery and advertising sales at the news operations and a4, Altice USA’s advanced advertising division, on national partnership and revenue opportunities across its digital, mobile, and linear news platforms. He will report to Jon Steinberg, president of Altice News.

“Keith brings tremendous experience managing large teams, working closely with clients, and deploying innovative advertising platforms and solutions,” Steinberg said in a press release. “I’m excited for him to combine our branded integration ad product with the power and measurability of Altice’s performance driven-advertising solution A4, which currently allows our advertisers to reach 50 million homes.”

Bowen most recently served as chief revenue officer at Spectrum Reach, where he oversaw revenue generation for Charter’s ad sales and production services unit. Earlier he served as chief revenue officer for Tribune Media, where he managed the company’s broadcast, cable and digital media portfolio. Prior to that Bowen was the chief revenue fficer at Urban One (formerly Radio One), where he led the company’s sales teams across their broad portfolio of subsidiaries.
