Bravo Sets Three New Scripted Series

`Rules of Attraction,' `Shanghai,' `Sweet Life' Added To Slate

Bravo Media continues to mine the scripted series arena with the development of three new series, the network announced Friday.

Bravo -- which previously has announced scripted projects Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce and Odd Mom Out -- will develop Rules of Attraction, an adaptation of the Bret Easton Ellis book of the same name; Shanghai, an ensemble drama centered around a group of ex-pats living in China; and Sweet Life; a drama centering around affluent African Americans vacationing in the Inkwell area of Martha’s Vineyard.

“With these new additions to Bravo’s expanding scripted slate, we’re taking our viewers on a cultural odyssey into the debauchery of Camden College, through the glittering towers of Shanghai and onto the elite shores of Martha’s Vineyard to do what Bravo does best – tell compelling stories through dynamic and unconventional characters,” said Andrew Wang, Vice President, Scripted TV Development and Production said in a statement.
