'Bravo On with the Show' Sets 15 Markets


'Bravo On with the Show,' a grassroots initiative designed to bring theater
education to students, will visit 15 markets in its second year, Bravo Networks
president Kathleen Dore announced Tuesday.

The public-affairs effort -- sponsored by Pfizer Inc.'s 'Cool Mint Listerine
PocketPaks' and General Motors Corp.'s 'Yukon XL Denali' -- will bring Camp
Broadway teaching artists into the various markets for one- to two-day workshops
and public performances by the newly trained casts of youngsters.

The markets will include Philadelphia; Hampton Roads, Va.; Detroit; Denver;
and Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas.

In addition, Dore announced, Bravo will partner with Cox Communications Inc.
in Las Vegas and Theatreworks/USA to present an original production of Peter
to 250 students from the Andre Agassi School of the Performing Arts.

Bravo On with the Show public-service announcements will feature such
performers as Lea Thompson (Broadway's Cabaret).

Last year, Bravo took the tour -- which is in some ways reminiscent of the
'VH1 Save the Music' initiative -- into 20 markets.
