'Breaking Bad' Season Premiere Grabs 2.6 Million Viewers

The season four premiere of AMC's Breaking Bad broke out in big way on the ratings front, generating 2.6 million viewers in its Sunday premiere.

The season four premiere of the series was the most watched episode in Breaking Bad's history and its 1.4 million viewers among key demo audiences of adults 18-49 and 25-54 was AMC's second-best premiere in those adult demos ever, behind last October's premeire of The Walking Dead, the network said.

Sunday's night's show - the first new episode for the series since June 2010 -- improved by 32% the 1.9 million viewers generated by the season three episode premiere in March 2010, said network officials.

Additionally, the episode's 1.8 household rating grew 30% versus last year's premiere.
