Bridezillas Finale a WE Record


The second-season finale of Bridezillas proved to be quite a wedding present for WE: Women’s Entertainment.

The show, which aired July 31 from 10 p.m.-11 p.m., earned a 0.71 Nielsen Media Research household rating, the best ever for an original telecast in the network’s history, WE executives said.

Ratings for the show -- which takes a tongue-in-cheek look at brides to be in the fretful weeks leading up to their nuptials -- grew 69% from the 0.42 rung up by the second-season debut June 12 and marked a 195% jump from the concluder of the season’s first season.

All told, Bridezillas’ second campaign -- which, network executives said, was backed by significant multimedia support -- averaged a 0.59 rating for eight episodes, the best for a WE original skein.
