Bright House Adds NESN National To Its Lineup in Indianapolis

Bright House Networks has completed the rollout of NESN National across its footprint.
The cable operator on March 28 added NESN National, the national television service of New England Sports Network that presents ancillary programming surrounding the Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins, to its Indianapolis system. That follows recent bows in Birmingham, Ala. and Bakersfield, Calif. With the service now positioned on Bright House's Sports Pass package, NESN National is now available to 238,000 of the MSO's customers in those three DMAs.
NESN National is available in standard-definition in Indianapolis on channel 409 and in the high-definition format on 410.
In Bakersfield, NESN National is available in standard and HD channels 137 and 1137. In Birminighman, it's positioned on 436 and 477.
Bright House Networks launched NESN National in the Tampa Bay and Central Florida (Orlando) areas and in Detroit back in 2010.
"Bright House Networks' launch of NESN National across the country reinforces the value of NESN as an out-of-market service to sports and digital tier subscribers," said Sean McGrail, NESN president and CEO, in a statement. "We're thrilled with their continued support of both NESN National and the overall concept."
Throughout the year, Bright House Sports Pass subscribers can watch NESN's Bruins and Red Sox pre and post-game shows, as well as Bruins replays and classic games; NESN Daily, a live sports news program; minor league baseball; college hockey and basketball; and many of the network's Original NESN Entertainment productions.

Live telecasts of Red Sox and Bruins games, Red Sox replays or classic games, and certain other programs will not be available on NESN National due to league restrictions. When these programs are airing on NESN in New England, Bright House Networks customers will see other programming, most notably same day delivery of The Dennis & Callahan Morning Show
