Bright House Networks donated $1 million to the American Red Cross to aid victims of hurricanes Charley, Frances, Ivan and Jeanne in Orlando, Tampa and surrounding areas in Florida, the MSO said Monday.

"Bright House Networks is extremely pleased to be able to assist the American Red Cross' hurricane-relief efforts with this donation," said John Rigsby, president of the MSO’s Florida group office, in a prepared statement.

American Red Cross senior vice president for growth and integrated development Skip Seitz added, “Generous corporate supporters like Bright House Networks allow the Red Cross to respond to the needs of the community before, during and after a devastating hurricane.”
