Bright House Indiana Continues HD Rollout

After adding 18 high-definition channels in November, Bright House Networks Indiana is keeping the enhanced networks coming as it is in the process of rolling out a baker's dozen of HD services.
On Dec. 16, the operator is scheduled to launch Fuse HD on channel 840, TV One HD on channel 866 and G4 HD on channel 810. Come Friday Dec. 18, Bright House Indiana will bow Investigation Discovery HD (channel 804), MavTV HD (channel 753) and NBA TV HD (channel 862).
The rollout of those services was preceded by the launches of NHL Network HD (863), Tennis Channel HD (864), Outdoor Channel HD (865) and IFC HD (794) on Dec. 11 and BBC America HD (847), Style HD (860) and Headline News HD (726) on Dec. 14.
The December HD push comes on the heels of the operator adding 18 HD services in 18 days in November to its systems in central Indiana, en route to its goal of hitting the century mark early next year.
"In response to a significant and rapidly growing customer demand for more high-definition programming, Bright House Networks continues this month to add new HD channels for our central Indiana customers," said Buz Nesbit, president of Bright House Networks Indiana, in a statement. "The additions we feel will enhance the value of our customers' TV viewing experience. We will continue to add more high quality channels as we continue toward our goal of providing more than 100 HD channels by early 2010."
Elsewhere, the operator bolstered its Spanish-language offerings with the addition of 11 new Latino channels this month and starting on Dec. 18 will make Start Over, the service proffered by Time Warner Cable, in which interactive TV customers can pause, rewind and restart select shows.
Time Warner Cable represents Bright House in a number of its programming deals.
