Broadband Takes Up Martial Arts


Martial Arts Channel Tuesday announced the launch of broadband outlet CMX, Club MAC Xtreme (

The network said CMX “connects users to movies; television programming; martial-arts-inspired video games; martial-arts news and reviews; tournament coverage and highlights; the latest in training, demonstrations, equipment and apparel; in addition to valuable health and fitness information.”

“The study and practice of martial arts teaches personal development, fitness, discipline, strength, beauty and confidence, while providing a whole lot of fun,” MAC founder, chairman and CEO R. Anthony Cort said in a prepared statement. “That is what CMX and MAC strive to bring to fans of all ages 24 hours a day.”

Cort added, “CMX is free and filled with information suitable for the whole family. The content we have online now is just the beginning for CMX. We will continue to roll out fresh and exciting subject matter over the next few months.”
