Broussard Replaces Hill at Rainbow

Rainbow Media Holdings said it promoted Robert Broussard to president of Rainbow Network Sales. Broussard replaces Rainbow veteran Gregg Hill, who resigned on Friday.

The Cablevision subsidiary said Broussard will oversee the development and growth of cable networks AMC, IFC, Rainbow Sports Networks; the company’s Voom HD Networks unit; and on-demand programming services.

Broussard will also lead the Rainbow Network Sales team, negotiating carriage deals with distribution partners and developing marketing programs across all of Rainbow’s brands. He reports to Rainbow president and CEO Josh Sapan.

Broussard had previously worked as executive VP of business affairs at Rainbow.
