Louise Henry Bryson, Lifetime Television’s distribution chief, has been given the additional role of executive vice president and general manager of Lifetime Movie Network, officials said Tuesday.
Bryson joined Lifetime Entertainment Services in 1999 as executive VP of distribution and affiliate-business development. She will retain those duties while also running LMN, Lifetime’s sister service.
LMN is in 46 million homes, and the network is averaging a 0.7 primetime rating year-to-date through September, according to Nielsen Media Research.
“Creating this new appointment underscores our belief that the network has enormous potential in all areas, from new programming and marketing to cracking the 50 million-subscriber mark early next year, along with even loftier distribution goals,” Lifetime CEO Betty Cohen said in a prepared statement.
