Sportscaster Joe Buck will throw out the first pitch on his new HBO show next month.
Joe Buck Live, which is set to begin as a quarterly production for HBO Sports, is slated to air its first installment on June 15 at 9 p.m. (ET) on the premium network. The program will feature a live studio audience, interviews, panel discussions, and pre-recorded features.
The first show is expected to explore sports and celebrity, delving into the never-ending news cycle, peppered by bloggers, gossip columnists and sports talk radio.
"We are excited to launch Joe Buck's new HBO Sports series," said HBO Sports President Ross Greenburg, who is executive producing the show along with Rick Bernstein. "Joe is a premium talent who excels in a live format, and we want to produce a show that showcases his unique perspective, personality and sense of humor."
Buck's show was announced in February, shortly after Bob Costas, the host of HBO's Costas Now, elected to move to MLB Network.
