Buckeye Goes with Motorola BSR

Buckeye Cablevision Inc. has chosen Motorola Broadband Communications
Sector's 'BSR 64000' Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification 1.1
cable-modem equipment to roll out in its 153,000-subscriber system.

Toledo, Ohio-based Buckeye will replace its DOCSIS 1.0 gear with Motorola's
broadband-services router and integrated cable-modem-termination-system/router
technology.

The operator said it serves more than 20,000 data customers in its 35
communities.

'The Motorola BSR 64000 will enable us to cost-effectively deliver the next
level of high-speed-data services to our customers,' said Paul Shyrock, vice
president of information technology at Buckeye, in a prepared
statement.
