Bugs, Daffy To Star In New Cartoon Network Series

Cartoon Network will bring back classic Warner Bros. cartoon characters Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck in a new series bowing May 3.
The Looney Tunes Show
  will offer an "irreverent, comical take on our modern world" through the eyes and actions of best friends Bugs and Daffy, according to the network.
The series will also feature cameo appearances from such familiar Looney Tunes characters including Porky Pig, Speedy Gonzales, Yosemite Sam, Foghorn Leghorn, the Tasmanian Devil, Tweety and Sylvester.

will also include short, animated music video vignettes dubbed Merrie Melodies  that spotlight various Looney Tunes characters, said network officials.

Show will join Cartoon Network's Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated series on Tuesday nights. 

Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated begins its sophomore campaign on May 3, said the network.
