Burmeister, Wilcots To Call NFL Network's AFL Opener On April 2

NFL Network has tapped Paul Burmeister and Solomon Wilcots to man its broadcast booth for its initial Arena Football League "Game of the Week."
Burmeister, a former University of Iowa quarterback, and Solomon Wilcots, the former Cincinnati Bengal, will handle the call for Chicago Rush and Iowa Barnstormers on April 2 at 8 p.m. (ET).
Burmeister splits play-by-play duty with Fran Charles on the network's 18-game schedule while Wilcots, Charles Davis, Tom Waddle and others who will be announced during the season will serve as analysts.

Burmeister and Waddle pair up for the second week with the Rush hosting the Cleveland Gladiators April 9, while the third will features Charles and Davis in Jacksonville with the Orlando Predators visiting the Sharks on April 16.
