Cable Marketer Lands at Qwest

Former AT&T Broadband senior vice president of sales and marketing Doug
Seserman has started a job as chief marketing officer for streaming-media
start-up Qwest Digital Media.

Although the company hopes to develop consumer products over the long term,
for now, its focus is on business-to-business services such as Web conferencing,
Seserman said. The company could also target programming networks looking for
new ways to manage video content, he added.

Seserman is not the first cable veteran to land at Qwest Digital Media, which
was funded in part by telecommunications giant Qwest Communications
International Inc. Former Cox Communications Inc. executive David Woodrow is CEO
of Qwest Digital Media.

'We've got a great name and great financial backers,' Seserman said.

He added that he is pleased that the new job allows him and his family to
stay in Denver.

He's also excited to be working for a start-up company, as it brings him new
experience that he didn't necessarily get when working for larger corporations.
'My goal is to run a company someday,' Seserman said.
