A&E Network and Food Network are preparing tributes to late TV chef Julia Child, who died Friday morning two days shy of her 92nd birthday.
A&E will air Biography Remembers: Julia Child Sunday from 7 p.m.-8p.m. (EST).
“We look back at the woman who could barely boil an egg when she attended the famous French cooking school, the Cordon Bleu, at the age of 35 -- 50 years later, she is credited with revolutionizing the way Americans eat,” the network said in a prepared statement.
Meanwhile, sometime during the upcoming week, Food will present Food Network's Tribute to Julia Child.
The one-hour special will tell her life story and feature clips from The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, Saturday Night Live, classic Julia Child series and her guest appearances on Food, as well as interviews with the network’s chefs, including Emeril Lagasse, Sara Moulton, Bobby Flay and Wolfgang Puck.
