Cable ONE said it is investing $60 million in infrastructure upgrades that will enhance the speed, reliability, and quality of Internet, cable, and phone service for the majority of customers in the Phoenix-based MSO’s 42 markets.
The project, which began in 2012 and is scheduled to continue through 2014, includes upgrading nearly 50,000 amplifiers, installing more than 600 new nodes, replacing 800 miles of cable, and adding approximately 600 miles of fiber – all of which will reinforce the company’s infrastructure and enhance service.
”We’re committed to delivering the best possible experience to our customers,” said Cable ONE CEO Tom Might in a statement. “We’re confident that this investment will ensure that our customers will receive superior service in the speed, reliability, and the overall performance of our services.”
Cable ONE has about 730,000 customers in 19 states.
